Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Inventory Control Specialist to join our warehouse team in Groveport, OH. This is a 2nd shift, contract-to-hire opportunity that plays a critical role in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our facility's inventory. Position Details
- Location: Groveport, OH (Onsite)
- Shift: 2nd Shift | Monday – Friday | 3:30 PM – 12:00 AM
- Compensation: $22.00 / hour
- Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire
Major Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate warehouse stock records, resolve inventory discrepancies, and utilize handheld computer scanners within our Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Complete routine cycle counts, random audits, and inventory reconciliations.
- Investigate and resolve inventory problems in a timely and efficient manner.
- Research and reconcile product discrepancies and variances, including over/under amounts and damaged products.
- Conduct thorough physical warehouse searches to locate misclassified or misplaced inventory.
- Escalate complex issues or significant discrepancies promptly and directly to the supervisor.
- Complete all other warehouse and administrative duties as assigned by leadership.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 2 years of general office or administrative experience.
- Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience.
- High attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable using technology, including WMS software and handheld RF scanners (training provided if necessary).
