The Riley Taylor Agency is looking for a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our growing team!

As an SDR, you'll play an important role in helping our sales team connect with potential clients. Your primary responsibility will be making outbound calls, engaging in friendly conversations, identifying insurance opportunities, and connecting interested prospects with our sales team through live handoffs.

You won't be expected to close the sale yourself. Your job is to open the door, build interest, and get the right people connected with the right team member!

• Reliable and self-motivated: You can stay productive, manage your time, and remain focused throughout your shift.
• Coachability: You're open to feedback, willing to learn, and ready to improve your skills.
• Previous sales or call center experience is helpful, but the right attitude, communication skills, and willingness to learn are just as important.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do:

• Make outbound calls to potential clients and start engaging, friendly conversations.
• Identify opportunities for our sales team to help individuals, families, and businesses with their insurance needs.
• Confidently work through objections and keep conversations moving in a positive direction.
• Transfer qualified and interested prospects directly to our sales team through live handoffs.
• Maintain consistent activity, stay focused on daily goals, and contribute to the overall success of the team.
• Communicate with team members and help create a positive, energetic work environment.

Requirements

Depending on the candidate and position requirements, this role may be performed remotely from home or in our office.

For remote work, you must have:

• A reliable, fully functioning computer.
• A stable internet connection.
• A working headset suitable for making outbound calls.
• A quiet, professional workspace where you can communicate clearly and stay focused.
